Questions/Responses in re: RFQ for Facilities

  • Question 1:  For section 2.9 Insurance, is it acceptable to include the requested endorsement pages upon award of contract? The way this section is phrased seems to indicate it is required at the time of proposal submission, which would be unusual.
    • Response: Yes this is acceptable
  • Question 2:  Do sub-consultants need to be included in our response?
    • Response: Yes
    • Question 3:  Fee: Are you looking for a lump sum fee to provide services for the master Plan.
      • Not necessarily, delineation of costs as the vendor deems is appropriate is preferred.
    • Question 4:  Can you verify that the firm selected to prepare your master plan will not be precluded from doing actual projects?
      • The selected firm for the preparation of the Facility Master Plan will not be precluded from doing actual projects; however, RFQ's will be released for the projects selected.
    • Question 5:  Would you like to see actual completed projects, not just master plans, as our project examples (other K-12 projects)?
      • If the vendor so deems this is pertinent to their response it is acceptable.
    • Questions 6:  Is the District looking to go after a bond, and if so, when what month/year would your bond be?
      • The intent at this time is to go after a bond in November 2022; however, additional leg work and research is warranted prior to a final decision.
