About the State Seal of Biliteracy
The State Seal of Biliteracy is a distinction provided by the state of California to students who demonstrate literacy in English and an additional second language.  Students meeting state requirements are honored with the Seal of Biliteracy on their transcript at the time of graduation from high school.
