The Lake Tahoe Unified School District Hall of Distinction is to recognize former students, former employees, and major contributors/volunteers who have distinguished themselves by their individual contributions in scholarship, athletics, student activities, career, community service, and/or service to the school community as a whole. We are no longer accepting nominations for 2025 Hall of Distinction Inductees. Please see the time frame for recognition below.

Time Frame:

• The selection committee will convene the Monday following Winter Break
• Honorees will be notified of their selection in February 2024
• Hall inductees will be honored at a special event at the District Office and again at the Lake Tahoe Education Foundation’s Annual Celebration of Education before the end of the school year
• Hall inductees will have their name placed on the Hall of Distinction at the District Office and a plaque will be placed at the site of their major contribution
