Department of Special Education

Curriculum Leader:

All parents want their children to receive a good education and succeed in school. Some children require "special" services to help them achieve this goal. Special education services may be provided for children with a disability in one or more of the following areas:

Autism Deaf/blindness speech/language
Multiple Disabilities Mental Retardation Traumatic Brain Injury
Deafness Orthopedic Impairment Visual Impairment
Emotional Disturbance Other Health Impairment Hearing Impairment
Specific Learning Disability    

These services may be provided by one or more of the following programs:

Speech and Language Therapy Psychologist services Low Incidence Services
Physical / Occupational therapy Resource Program Special Day Class
