    1. If your author is well known, we may have= a book about him/her. Look in the online catalog to find out.

 

    1. If your author was working before 1975, u= se Contemporary Authors, in the reference room. Call number: REF 920.03 C

 

    1. Look in Cyclopedia of World Authors= in the reference room. Call number: R 803 M<= /li>

 

    1. Use Biogra= phy Resource Center

1.      Go to South Tahoe Library Web page (http://www.ltusd.org/sths/lib= rary)

2.      Click on “Find magazine articles, biograp= hies and maps”

3.      Click on “Biography Resource<= /st1:PlaceName> Center”<= /o:p>

4.      Enter password (get one from the library)<= /o:p>

5.      Select “Biography Resource<= /st1:PlaceName> Center”<= /o:p>

6.   &n= bsp;  Type your author’s name and hit “search”
